When you travel to a new city, you’re faced with the task of figuring out how you’re going to get from point A to point B. Oftentimes, the right answer is to simply take public transportation, especially if you’re on a budget. There are other options as well, such as taking Ubers wherever you go. But what about renting a car? This isn’t always the right way to go, but here are scenarios when it’s exactly what the doctor ordered.

Everything’s Dispersed

There are some cities or countries where all of the main attractions are not in the same place. All the hotspots are miles away from one another, meaning you’ll be needing to drive a lot—which means that renting a car is definitely worth your while.

The Public Transit Sucks

Another time where it’s good to rent a car is when the public transportation system isn’t ideal. This isn’t always the case, but when it is, having a car can certainly come in handy.

You Have The Budget

Finally, if you’re well within your financial means to spend extra money on renting a car, there’s absolutely no reason not to do so. This is especially true if you love driving, and want to experience driving in a new city.
