Traveling is easy when you’re on your own, but when you have children it’s a bit more complicated. In addition to all of the different things you have to bring, you also have to worry about things such as changing them in awkward places—most notably, the airplane itself. If you’re worried about that, we’re pleased to inform you that it’s actually a lot easier than you think.

You’re Already a Pro

First of all, let’s be real. If you’re taking your baby on a plane, that means that you’ve been a parent for at least a few months, which means that you’re probably already a pro at changing diapers. And since you’re a pro at it, there’s no reason that fact should change once you’re on a plane.

Finding Your Comfort Zone

Even though you’re a pro, however, you may be worried that the circumstances of being on a plane will make things more difficult. Well, sure, it’s not ideal, but it’s really not that bad. All you have to do is prepare a diaper bag with wipes, and possibly a mat for your baby to lie on, and bring it to the airplane bathroom.

Once you’re in the bathroom with your baby, you’ll find it a lot easier to get into your comfort zone. Things will start getting more familiar, and muscle memory will kick in. Before you know it, your baby will be changed and you’ll be done! So what were you worried about again?
