Paris is a beautiful city, but with all the crowds, hustle and bustle, it can get a little overwhelming. If you need to step away and access some green space, check out one of these beautiful parks which are all just as chic and pretty as the city itself.

Jardins des Luxembourg

Situated in the grounds of an old estate, these gardens are beautifully landscaped and wonderfully easy to access from central Paris. There are plenty of facilities once you’re inside, including snack cabins which can provide drinks or food, should you need it. Stroll along the tree lined avenues, or settle down with a book, and let the business of the city fade away.

Parc des Buttes-Chaumont

This park in north-eastern Paris is one of the largest in the city, and offers nature trails as well as more formal landscaped gardens. Don’t miss the waterfall in the cavern, and check out the stunning lake around which many people will set up painting stations to try and catch the play of the light over the water.

Tuileries Gardens

Located in central Paris, not far from the Louvre, this park is also one of the largest in the city, but its location also makes it incredibly popular. Stroll through and enjoy noticing how everyone is styled (you are in Paris after all), or grab a bench and settle in for half an hour or so of peace.
