There are many cities in America that are considered to be popular by traditional standards and for very good reason. But then there are also many other cities in the country which fly under the radar and are just as pleasant. One of these cities is none other than Boulder, Colorado. Nestled right in the heart of North America, it’s quite an underrated and wonderful tourist destination, and here’s why.

Gorgeous Rocky Mountains

Boulder might not be the concrete jungle that you’ll find in a big metropolitan city such as Manhattan, but in return, it’s a naturally visual paradise. The Rocky Mountains are always in the background, and the city is filled with endless hikes and trails that allow you to view these mountains from beautiful vantage points.

Winter Sports Dreamland

Another benefit about Boulder in Colorado is that it’s pretty much in the hub of winter sports. If you’re a snowboarder or skier, you’ll be not so far away from some amazing slopes, not to mention the community of fellow skiers you’ll be able to meet.

Iconic Music Scene

Another great thing about Boulder is that it’s quite close to one of the most legendary music venues in the world: Red Rocks Amphitheater. Not only does this make for excellent acoustic live music experiences, but it also attracts some of the best artists in the world to want to come to play there.
