You’re probably already sick of hearing about all the damage we as a species are creating on our planet, but not everything is doomed just yet. There are amazing places all around the world that offer plenty of clean air and they are perfect vacation spots, especially if you live in a big city and desperately need a break from all the pollution.

Honolulu, Hawaii

Hawaii and its capital Honolulu are considered to be one of the places with the cleanest air in the U.S. and in the world. It’s mostly because of the winds that take all the dirt particles to the sea. Also, Hawaii is on the list of states with the least heart attacks per year and we think it could be somehow connected to their clean air.

Zurich, Switzerland

Despite being a big city, Zurich is a very clean city where many people use bikes for transport and take public transport instead of cars whenever possible. They have developed a great garbage disposing system that also helps.

Adelaide, Australia

Adelaide is the city that’s often on the lists of the cleanest places in the world, in addition to being one of the best places to live.
