Visiting Disneyworld is a fun and exciting experience for the whole family, but when you have a budget to follow, as most of us do, it can get a bit overwhelming.

Here are our best budget-friendly tips for visiting Disney World and enjoying the fairytales, castles, and your favorite characters.

Don’t Go Around Holidays

The regular ticket costs $109, and the more days you stay, the cheaper it gets per day. However, the prices go up around the holidays, so this Christmas season a single admission ticket was $159. You can easily see how economic avoiding the holidays can be, but it will also help you avoid crowds and long lines.

Skip the Tempting Add-Ons

They will offer you a lot of amenities that you need to pay extra for, but you don’t have to accept any of them. You can take your own photos and, honestly, you can skip water parks — that’s not what you’re there for.

Bring Your Own Food

It’s actually allowed to bring your own food to Disney World which can save you a ton of money. Make sure you pack enough snacks and bottles of water so you don’t have to buy those things at Disney World prices nor to wait in the long lines.
