Florida is known for its year-round swimming weather and great theme parks, making it a perfect vacation spot at any time of year. One fun activity that’s great for the whole family in a place with such a warm climate is waterparks. Luckily, Florida has some great ones to choose from. So here are a few of the best waterparks around the state.

Adventure Island

Run by Seaworld and right by Tampa, Adventure island has lots of awesome slides and rides. On the four-lane Riptide slide, you can even race your friends or family down to the bottom. This park is closed in the winter, but that still leaves you seven months out of the year to check out their VR snorkeling and much more.

LEGOLAND Water Park

At the huge LEGOLAND Florida resort, the waterpark is one of the main attractions with lots of Lego-themed rides and slides. That makes it especially good for younger kids, who can play in the interactive play area or, if they’re a little older, build their own raft to ride on.

Blizzard Beach

Run by Walt Disney World in Bay Lake near Orlando, this waterpark has a VERY unique (and possibly counterintuitive) theme: ski lodge! You can rent a private “polar patio” (much like a private lodge) and go down one of the biggest body slides in the world, Summit Plummet.
