South America’s music scene is one of the most burgeoning and lively arts showcases on Earth. In the spring every year, the continent comes alive with a variety of quality festivals which showcase prominent artists from across the globe.

Lollapalooza Chile 

March 27-29, Santiago, Chile

One of the most famous festivals in the continent is Lollapalooza Chile, which is held at O’Higgins Park from March 27 to 29 this year. 2020’s festival will be the tenth in its history and feature artists such as Guns n’ Roses, Travis Scott, and Vampire Weekend.

Estereo Picnic

April 3-5, Bogota, Colombia

Colombia’s capital will host the Estero Picnic festival from April 3rd to 5th. The country’s biggest alternative music festival is visited by over 60,000 people annually, and big acts including The Chemical Brothers, James Blake, and Latin favorite Cultura Profetica are expected to make it rock this spring.
