Knowing what you’re allowed to bring in your carry-on and checked baggage before arriving at the airport is extremely important for every traveler. Nevertheless, there are certain things that are actually allowed but you still shouldn’t pack in your suitcase, because it can easily get lost. Here’s a list of things you should never pack in your checked bag.

Important Documents

Obviously, you’ll need to carry your passport and boarding pass with you, but it’s also advisable to keep all other important documents with you at all times.

Medication

We are in fact allowed to pack medication in a checked bag, but still, it’s better to carry important meds with you in case you need them during the flight.

Electronics

The most important thing to remember is to never pack electronic items in a checked bag. Things like cameras, laptops, or tablets are very valuable and they can easily get damaged in a suitcase.

Jewelry

Traveling with valuable jewelry, in general, is very risky and not a good idea. However, if you really need to carry an important ring or necklace, then make sure to keep it with you at all times.
