During late November and December, cities around Europe transform into magical places with Christmas lights and cozy markets that offer tasty food, mulled wine, and seasonal decoration. Here are the best Christmas markets in Europe you should visit at least once.

Vienna

Vienna is famous for having many markets all over the city once Christmas approaches. They all have a great selection of food, drinks, and wine, and represent a great way to spend a day outdoors when it gets cold. Some of the markets have rides and other kid-friendly activities.

Prague

The Old Town Square in Prague is magical all year long, but it gets even more special around Christmas. A big tree is the centerpiece of the market that’s always flooded with people and festive atmosphere.
