Have you ever wondered which countries are working the hardest to keep their landscapes beautiful and their air clean? Here are some of the countries working admirably hard to look after the environment.

Finland

According to reports, Finland’s “goal of consuming 38 percent of their final energy from renewable sources by 2020 is legally binding, and they already produce nearly two-thirds of their electricity from renewable or nuclear power sources.” Basically, the Scandinavian country is doing pretty well on the environment protection front.

The Rest Of Scandanvia

Iceland is also high up on the list along with Denmark, Norway and pretty much every country in Scandinavia. Sweden is known for its use of renewable energy and the country works with others bordering it to protect the Baltic seas.

Costa Rica

The citizens of Costa Rica all use renewable energy to keep their homes running. The country is considered to be one of the greenest countries in the world, along with the happiest.

Cuba

Cuba is often considered a “backward” country because it doesn’t boast the fastest cars or trendiest clubs. Instead, it works hard to keep its environment green and safe, reducing the use of harmful chemicals on farmland. And we think that’s far more important.
