Highway One, the road between San Francisco and San Diego is incredible. Both cities are wonderful but the real adventure is the journey and the best spots are the ones visited along the way. Here are the highlights.
Elephant Seal Beach
Around Big Sur, there’s a beach that’s home to hundreds of elephant seals.
Willow Creek
There are many beautiful spots in Big Sur but Willow Creek is our favorite. It is a quiet secluded beach with waterfalls and a sky full of stars.
Santa Cruz
Santa Cruz is actually a lot less buzzing than we expected but the beach and pier are picture-perfect.
Sunset Beach, LA
We hit up lots of beaches in LA but our favorite is Sunset Beach. It’s peaceful, romantic and we did get to catch a sunset after all.
Old Town San Diego
Old Town San Diego is an unexpected stop-off point and it’s a lot more charming than expected.
