Wander the Streets
Camogli is quiet and beautiful so simply walking down its streets will be a one-of-a-kind adventure. The tall, colorful houses are facing the sea and the alleyways are just as vivid.
Spot the Artwork
What looks like shuttered windows is sometimes a trompe l’oeil painting, so try and find them around the town. The reason for this is that in the past, the villagers were taxed based on the number of windows on their homes. Some decided to close a few of them and paint them on instead.
Visit Museums and Monuments
There’s the 13th-century Castello della Dragone located near the town’s edge. You can also visit Santa Maria Assunta church, the yellow building that dates back to the 12th century. The Marine Museum is the place you can see many interesting items that represent the history of the town.
