Nature is so beautiful in the fall. We get to see it in all its glory, with leaves changing colors into a wonderful spectrum of yellows and reds and the temperatures are perfect for long walks and all-day picnics. These are some of the best places in the U.S. to enjoy the beauty of fall.

Vermont

Vermont is famous for its gorgeous fall colors. For the best experience, visit some of its small towns that get their fall colors from maple, beech, and birch trees. The best time to go is from mid-September to mid-October.

Aspen, Colorado

Colorado’s ski-resort town isn’t just the place to go skiing. Go for a fall weekend getaway if you want to see Colorado’s nature in all its glory. Tree colors in Aspen range from gold to burgundy reds and if you can, find a forest that has all the amazing colors in one place. The whole month of September and the first half of October are perfect for this adventure.
