Have you ever found yourself bored out of your mind during a long airport layover? It’s easy to despair when you have more than a couple of hours between flights if you don’t know how to take advantage of the layover and kill time.
Here are three great ideas for how to use your time during your next multi-hour layover!
Exploring the City
If your layover is longer than 3 or 4 hours, it might just be worth it for you to take a trip from the airport to the center of your layover city to do a mini-visit! City centers are usually accessible by public transportation options in a relatively quick time, so this could be the perfect solution.
Working in a Cafe
While most of us travel to head to leisure destinations and to forget about work, why not use a few hours on your next layover to be productive and get some work out of the way? Most airports feature a variety of cafes with free Wi-Fi access, which are perfect for doing some work.
Plane Watching
Are you an aviation geek or someone who has always been interested in plane spotting? If so, a long layover is the perfect opportunity for you to check out the airplanes, big and small, which pass through an airport. Many airports have specific lounge areas that provide a great view of the runways for landings and takeoffs.
