Experience the Pink Water Lilies Lake in Thailand

Thailand is inviting travelers from all over the world to come and visit the natural beauty that is Pink Water Lilies Lake in Nong Han Kumphawapi. The freshwater lake is located in the Northeastern province of Udon Thani and spreads over 36 square kilometers. Most of it is in the Kumphawapi district with some covering the parts of Prachaksinlapakhomand Ku Kaeo districts.

The locals depend on it for fresh water without which agriculture would be impossible. This lake is considered one of the most important wetlands in all of Thailand.

The perfect time to visit the Pink Water Lilies Lake is from January to March. If you go between 6 a.m. and 11 a.m., you can see the beautiful flowers in full blooms. For the best experience, hire a personal cruise boat and admire the flowers from up close. The lake is rich in other life forms, too, so you can enjoy the view of birds, fish, and wildlife.
