Iran is a beautiful country in the middle east that’s definitely worth a visit. Most people travel to Iran only to visit Tehran and call it a day, but this country has so much more in store. Shiraz is one of its biggest and most populous cities that most tourists aren’t aware of, but these radiant attractions make it worth the trip.

Nasir al-Mulk Mosque

Commonly known by the nickname “Pink Mosque”, this building alone makes Shiraz worth a visit. It’s best known for its pink-colored tiles and vibrant stained-glass windows, that create colorful light display inside the building.

Eram Garden

Nature and architecture lovers alike will feel right at home inside Eram Garden. This lavish garden, filled with tall cypress, palm trees, and an ornamental pool, was built in the surroundings of Eram Palace, and it’s one of the best known Persian gardens in all of Iran.

Qavam House

Qavam House perfectly blends the best qualities of the previous two attractions. If its lush gardens don’t end up winning you over, its colorful interior with stained glass windows certainly will. In addition to being a true architectural marvel, this building also houses the Narenjestan-e-Qavam museum.
