Hood River, Oregon

While not technically located on the Pacific Coast, Hood River is a charming small town located on the Columbia River just a couple of hours from its discharge into the ocean. Known as a windsurfing hotspot, Hood River is full of outdoor activities and craft breweries that you will love.

California’s Central Coast region is home to San Luis Obispo, one of America’s most pleasant small cities. Here, you will find 18th-century Spanish missions as well as an international film festival and plentiful hiking trails.

Sequim, Washington

Just a stone’s throw from Seattle is the small town of Sequim, which is scenically located at the base of the towering Olympic Mountains. Sequim has sport fishing and crabbing galore, but its claim to fame is its gorgeous lavender fields.
