It's kinda crazy, but the more places I see, the less I feel like I have seen. Everytime I cross a border or change cities, I am proven that there is even more to this planet than I thought there was! Let's take Montenegro for example… I've actually already been here, and I didn't really share it cause honestly the only pic I took was one of me eating a heavenly burek (actually the best I have ever found, but that's beside the point). Anyways, this time around I got the chance to visit the coastal cities of Kotor and Perast. Well DAMN. I had the impression that Montenegro was nothing more than its sorta rundown capital of Podgorica, and I thought I might never come back here cause there wasn't anything to see. After seeing these crazy beautiful spots, I realize that I was A) extremely mislead about this country and B) that I definitely have to come back a few more times to see the rest of the amazing places it probably has to offer. So, this has basically been the case every time I've moved more than like 500 meters 😂 When I came to Europe, my list was simply every country and even though I'm checking those off quickly, my travel list only continues to grow. The fact that Montenegro is a tiny country is no letdown. There is so much to see and do and you can experience it all without having to spend hours on the bus. It is only 250km from North to South so if you love biking, you can see it all.
