Hoàn Kiếm Lake

Commonly known as the “Sword Lake”, this spot is located in the very heart of Hanoi’s historical center. It’s one of the city’s most scenic spots and the legend of the magic sword isn’t the only thing that makes it so magical. Its central temple and a striking red bridge will also take your breath away.

West Lake

Hanoi’s largest lake is also located in the heart of the city and you can find everything your heart desires in its surroundings. Many temples, gardens, and hotels are located nearby, making this lake one of the city’s top recreational areas.

Trúc Bạch Lake

Trúc Bạch Lake isn’t as popular with the locals as the previous two, but there’s still something that makes it special. It’s surrounded by several historical sites and there’s a Vietnam War monument on the premises.
