However, Bavaria isn’t the only place where you can have a great time celebrating this traditional German festival! Here are four other cities that host Oktoberfest celebrations that are worth checking out!

Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

In mid-September of every year, Cincinnati begins to look more like “Zinzinnati” as it hosts a huge Oktoberfest party featuring authentic German food and beer. The reason for the large celebration? Cincinnati’s German immigrant heritage.

Blumenau, Brazil

Would you believe that one of the planet’s best Oktoberfest celebrations is in southern Brazil, in the state of Santa Catarina? Well, this Brazilian city was founded by German immigrants and hosts South America’s biggest Oktoberfest celebration every October.

Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

The second-largest Oktoberfest is located in this small Canadian city, attracting over 700,000 partygoers every October. Many residents in this town, once known as Berlin, still speak German. They host a huge televised parade that is shown nationwide on Canadian television as part of the festivities, too!
