There’s no doubt that Japan is packed with places to see and that’s not only limited to the country’s culture and history.

Though it’s exciting to explore things unique to Japan, visitors are often stunned by this English setting where nobody expects it.

Even though the village is small and it only takes a short stroll to see it, it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in Oita, a prefecture on Kyushu region of Japan.

The atmosphere of the village is inspired by Cotswolds, an area of England that dates back to the Neolithic Era. It was made in 2012 by a local businessman and quickly started attracting a huge number of tourists.

If it weren’t for the Japanese language on the promotional signs and in the shops, you’d have no idea that you’re actually not in England!
