Orlando’s Universal Studios have unveiled a new Harry Potter-themed coaster and fans have been willing to wait a long, long time to ride.

The ride is called “Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure” and we can understand why visitors are willing to queue. The coaster zooms riders around the Forbidden Forrest at high speeds and darts them both backward and forwards.

The ride cost $300 million and travels at speeds of 50 mph. It contains multiple launch-starts i.e. it plunges riders forward super fast on several occasions. It is also the longest roller coaster in Florida and at one point, it
catapults guests 65 feet into the air at a more than 70-degree angle.

In addition to the track being one of a kind, the coaster implements virtual reality and brings riders face to face with Fluffy the three-headed dog along with a handful of other magical creatures.

Unfortunately, the high standard of coaster means long queues. While some guests found the ride to be totally worth the wait, others were disgraced at the wait. Riders took to social media to complain. You can view some of the mixed reactions below.
