Many people are planning to go big and embark on their dream trip after COVID-19 is no longer a threat, but certain destinations are still off-limits. If you’re thinking of going to Paris and checking out Disneyland during your visit, you’ll have to wait until at least April.

Earlier this week, Disneyland Paris announced that they won’t open their doors on February 13th, as initially planned. The popular theme park is now expected to reopen on April 2nd if the conditions permit, but there’s a chance it will take even longer for that to happen.

“Given the current context our plans continue to evolve, but please know that we will make every effort to provide updates as soon as it is possible,” reads the official statement by Disneyland Paris.

The theme parks industry has been significantly hit by the Covid pandemic, and Disneyland Paris isn’t the only park in this franchise that remains closed. Hong Kong Disneyland and the original Disneyland in Anaheim are also temporarily closed, but certain locations are still in operation, most notably the Walt Disney World in Orlando.
