You Have to Spend Time in These Pet Cafes in New York City

Pet cafes are such a special thing, and there’s really no way to describe the feeling you get being amongst so many animals inside than experiencing it for yourself!

Boris and Horton

If you want to be in a dogpile, you need to go to Boris and Horton in the East Village. This cafe is a paradise for dogs and humans alike! While you sip on a drink, your pup can enjoy a treat of their own. Bring your own doggo and chill out, or hang with the pups as they run around and even jump right up to you.

Koneko

If you’ve ever wanted to go to a real Japanese cat cafe but don’t have the time or money, look no further than the Lower East Side for an authentic Japanese experience. Koneko not only serves up delicious Japanese fare, drinks, and more, but you can enjoy all of these delicacies with the company of cats! The cafe has anywhere up to 20 cats at a time that you can play with, or just exist with, which is so comforting especially if you need some cuddly time. The best part is if you live in New York, you can actually adopt any of the cats from the cafe!
