Even if you don’t wear a shawl on a daily basis, traveling with one is a must. A shawl can be so many different items, and they’re thin and small enough that you won’t have trouble packing them. No matter if you’re going somewhere in winter or even in summer or spring, you can always find a way to use a shawl. So next time you go on a trip, make sure to bring one!

Blanket

A shawl can easily turn into a blanket for a multitude of reasons. Whether you have a long layover at a chilly airport, or it’s a beautiful sunny day where you’re traveling to and you want to spend some time outside but don’t want to get grass stains on your pants. Using a shawl as a blanket is key.

Covering Up

Even if you’re not going to a super religious or modest city, if you do plan on going to any places of worship, it’s always a good idea to bring a shawl just in case. Some places require you to cover up or you won’t be allowed admittance, so it’s never a bad idea to have a shawl on hand to wrap around your shoulders or make into a makeshift skirt.
