Spring Break is the next ‘big thing’ after the Christmas and New Year holidays, and many people around the US, not only students, are currently making plans on where to spend some time off during that colorful season.

One of those places, which offers many attractive locations, is Texas, where thousands of tourists flock to during the sunny spring. Here is a list of the lesser-known spring destinations in Texas that will blow your mind! 

Cascade Caverns, Boerne  

This system of caves is located near San Antonio, and it offers a chance for all visitors to take a peek beneath the Texas Hill Country. The most beautiful thing in these caves is the underground waterfall which is about 60-feet long.

Boca Chica State Park Beach  

Located close to Brownsville, this long beach has only one village, but the real fun is in the water. This beach is perfect for surfing, fishing and picnicking, although alcohol is forbidden everywhere along the beach.  

Lake Texoma, Texas-Oklahoma Border  

This reservoir is located near the Texas-Oklahoma border, and it offers quite a lot of fun activities such as fishing, boat rides, renting a cabin in the woods. Before the night falls, the wild partying begins!
