presents the N I G H T S C A P E R • Photo Award to … . @anselmo.hoffmann . Breaking moonlight over Salto Angel (Angel Falls) ~ Venezuela. Congratulations to Anselmo Hoffmann‎. “A rare and fleeting moment when the milky way aligned in pure enhancement with ‘Salto Angel’ in Venezuela. With a height of 979 meters (3,212 ft), the Salto Angel is the world's highest uninterrupted waterfall. Believe: almost 1 km of free fall! To do this picture I did an epic adventure. After 02 days on the road, I got a flight in a little airplane over Canaima National Park. I reached Canaima NP and then the next day I took a boat on a river up trip (6 hours upstream) to the Angel Falls trail. Then, it is more 2 hours hiking a hill until reach the waterfall. I had to wait 2 nights until clearly see the stars. I'll always remember that night… The milky way was incredibly beautiful over the cascade, making a wonderful natural marriage. I spent all night shooting, enchanted with so magic moment. The lights on the waterfall and on the Tepuy were made by the moon that came moments after. Those moments was an amazing and unforgettable! …What such a nature's spectacle,” says Anselmo! || Please show support to our guest artists by visiting their IG gallery. – TECHNIQUE & EXIF: Exposure Blend • Sony a7rII + Sony Zeiss 16-35mm f/4 • ISO 6400 • 02 exposures at the same exif: 01 picture for the stars (background); another for the waterfall and mountain (foreground). – LINKS: anselmohoffmann.com . .
