Vietnam is Home to Some Pretty Breathtaking Waterfalls

Vietnam is home to countless sun-kissed beaches and serene lakes, but did you know you can also go chasing waterfalls during your visit? This Southeast Asian country is home to some pretty breathtaking waterfalls, and here are a few you should put on your bucket list.

Ban Gioc–Detian Falls

Located on the border between China and Vietnam, Ban Gioc–Detian Falls is formed by two waterfalls on Quây Sơn River. They drop at around 30 meters, separating into several smaller picture-perfect streams.

Elephant Waterfalls

Located in the lush natural area of Vietnam’s Central Highlands, this waterfall is truly a sight to behold. You should follow the scenic, rugged path to reach it and make sure to check out the tiny nearby pagoda during your visit.

Datanla Waterfall

If you’re in the mood to explore some wild nature while in Vietnam, Datanla Waterfall is the place to be. This waterfall pours from rocky cliffs into a deep pool, and it offers everything from hiking trails to a tiny roller coaster and cable car. 

Pongour Waterfall

One of the most stunning terraced waterfalls in all of Vietnam, Pongour plunges down several levels of rocks, filling its unspoiled forested surroundings with some noise.
