[Werbung] Verbindest du #Hongkong mit #Streetart? Wir irgendwie nicht! Und als wir dann vor zwei Jahren das erste Mal zu Besuch waren, haben wir mehr oder weniger durch Zufall super viele coole Streetart entdeckt. Das hier ist eines der Kunstwerke. ° Streetart ist meist noch viel cooler, wenn man die Geschichte dahinter kennt. Das Bild zeigt "Kowloon Walled City", übersetzt also sowas wie "ummauerte Stadt", auf kantonesisch aber "Stadt der Dunkelheit" genannt. ° Was wir euch jetzt erzählen, kann man sich fast nicht vorstellen. #KowloonWalledCity war ein Stadtteil in Hongkong deren rechtlicher Status lange Zeit ungeklärt war. Vor 20 Jahren haben dort 33.000 Menschen auf einer Fläche von 0.027 km² gewohnt und die Bevölkerungsdichte betrug 1,3 Millionen Einwohner je Quadratkilometer und war damit die höchste der Welt! ° Könnt ihr euch das vorstellen? Uns fällt es sehr schwer! ° Die meisten Wohnungen waren nicht größer als 20 m² und dort hat nicht etwa eine Person, sondern ganze Familien gelebt. ° Mehrere Jahre lange wurde die Walled City geräumt und dann vor 15 Jahren abgerissen. Heute findest du dort den Kowloon Walled City Park. ° Und diese Streetart erinnert eben genau an diese Walled City. ° Wenn dich die Geschichte des ehemaligen Stadtteils Hongkongs interessiert, gibt das mal in Wikipedia ein.
