The Mediterranean stretches across many countries, and sun-drenched Tunisia is blessed with some of the most beautiful beaches. This Northern African nation should be known for its sun, sand, and pristine beaches. If you’re looking for your next beach vacation, Tunisia should be on your bucket list. These are the top beach towns to visit.

Hammamet

For the beachgoers who like to don a snorkel or scuba diving equipment, Hammamet should be on your beach list. The white sand beach stretches as far as the eye can see, and underneath the pristine water are schools of fish and coral reefs. If you just want to hang out for the day, consider renting one of the lounge chairs.

El Haouaria

This beach is for those that don’t want to be surrounded by the crowds. It’s a very quiet beach, with just a few small towns in the vicinity. As far as beaches go, this is a good one to take a dip in the water and read a book on the beach. If you enjoy watching birds, you will likely see some very unique species as they migrate across this area from March to May.

Monastir

For the adrenaline junkies, Monastir beach will be your favorite. There are lots of boats for hire, that will take you water skiing and if that’s a bit too fast then there is something else—camels! You can hire a camel for the day, and ride it along the beach and explore the area.
