Angel’s Landing (Utah)

Hiking Angel’s landing is a true challenge. The path is wide enough for no more than one hiker so you must brave the climb alone. Many have fallen and even more give up before they reach the top.

Via Ferrata (Italy)

This intense hike contains many daunting peaks, some of them vertical. The only way to climb it is by using the metal posts drilled into the rocks. It’s risky business.

Mount Hua Shan (China)

Mount Hua Shan is the deadliest hiking trail in the world. It is estimated that 100 people die each year from attempting to scale the edge of the cliff, some 7087 feet above ground.

Pu’u Manamana Hiking Trail (Hawaii)

Hawaii contains many wonderful hikes and the most dangerous of them all is Pu’u Manamana. The hike is just four miles but involves some pretty intense climbing. It is for expert hikers only.

The sinisterly named trail in Japan attracts many keen hikers due to its beauty. The trail itself is relatively easy but the forest is the source of many urban legends and many have mysteriously died there.
