Bridges may not be the first thing you want to explore when visiting a new country, but that’s probably because you’ve never been to Vietnam. This country is home to some of the most imposing bridges you’ll ever see, and here’s a couple you can find in its fifth-largest city of Da Nang.

Golden Hands Bridge

One of Vietnam’s most Instagram-friendly spots, this pedestrian bridge is located in the Bà Nà Hills resort, near Da Nang. It owes its enormous popularity to the picture-perfect sculpture of stone hands, seemingly holding the bridge.

Dragon Bridge

If the Golden Hands Bridge isn’t mind-blowing enough for you, head to Da Nang to check out this bridge that was designed to mimic the shape of a dragon. You should make sure to visit it on Saturday and Sunday nights at 9 p.m. when an amazing fire and water performance takes place.

Thuận Phước Bridge

This white suspension bridge may seem quite ordinary when compared to the previous two, but don’t let that trick you into thinking it’s not special. This 1,850-meter-long structure actually happens to be the longest suspension bridge in all of Vietnam.
