Bangkok, Thailand’s capital, is a veritable treasure trove that consists of good times, parties, and fellow international travelers looking for fun. While a lot of parties and festivals also take place on Thailand’s various islands—including but not limited to the famous Full Moon Party that takes place monthly on Ko Pha Ngan—you definitely shouldn’t look over the celebrations taking place within the urban setting of the inimitable Bangkok.

As we all have come to know, Thailand takes its celebrations quite seriously, and Bangkok is no exception. Since it’s such a tourist hot spot that never lacks in popularity, consider planning your next Thai visit while one of the following festivals is underway:

Chinese New Year (late January)

Songkran (April)

International Festival of Music and Dance (September)
