Norway follows closely, with its robust social welfare system and high wages. Living in cities like Oslo can be costly due to expensive housing and day-to-day expenses. However, the natural beauty and quality of life often offset the costs for many.
Iceland, with its stunning landscapes, also comes with high living expenses. The remote location contributes to increased costs for imported goods, making daily essentials pricier than in many other countries.
Singapore and Hong Kong, Asian financial hubs, are known for their sky-high real estate prices and the cost of living. These cities attract expatriates and professionals with their dynamic environments and opportunities but require a hefty budget to enjoy their full experience.

]]>Pizza, pasta, and wine—need we say more? Each of these three food items all have a unique connection to cheese, and they all happen to be staples of Italy. This country is known for its enchanting food, and its cheese history is no different, having contributed the iconic mozzarella, parmigiano reggiano, gorgonzola, and ricotta cheeses to the world.
Switzerland is so important to the development of cheese that there’s literally a cheese named after it! However, unbeknownst to many, Swiss cheese isn’t the only kind of Swiss cheese (as weird as that is to say). Le Gruyère and Tête de Moine are also delicious cheese varieties that owe their existence to the country of Switzerland.
Some of our very favorite cheeses wouldn’t exist if not for the French, and we’ll be forever in their debt. Some of these cheeses include the wonderfully intoxicating Brie, the delicious Camembert, and of course Roquefort.
