If you happen to be a huge fan of architecture, Kuwait should be one of the places on your bucket list because it’s the perfect blend of old and new. Fans of contemporary architecture will be truly impressed by this city—especially after checking out its imposing towers.

Kuwait Towers

If we had to pick one of the man symbols of modern Kuwait, this group of three slender towers would definitely take the top spot. The glittering, blue-tiled towers are truly a sight to behold, but you’ll be even more impressed if you step inside and discover fancy restaurants and a revolving viewing sphere.

Al Hamra Tower

Kuwait Towers may be one of its main landmarks, but the title of the tallest building in the entire city belongs to Al Hamra Tower. This building is home to one of the city’s most popular shopping centers, and it’s instantly recognizable thanks to its modern design with wrapped glass surfaces.

Liberation Tower

As its name suggests, this tower is meant to symbolize Kuwait’s liberation from Iraq and it’s been around since 1993. It’s the country’s most notable telecommunications tower and it’s not publicly accessible to tourists, but seeing it from the outside is impressive in its own right.
