Most airline companies around the world made face coverings either mandatory or highly recommended during their flights. This means, if you plan to go on a plane anytime soon, you’ll have to spend several hours wearing a face mask without taking a break, and here’s how you can prepare for this experience.
Mask Choice
Your main priority for the face mask you’re going to wear during your flight is to pick a comfortable and breathable model. If the reusable cloth mask you’re usually using doesn’t fit that description, go for a lightweight and disposable surgical mask instead.
Getting Ready
If you’re not used to wearing a face mask for hours on end, you can try practicing at home, especially if you’re preparing for a long-haul flight or a long layover. You should also make sure to use the face mask model that you’re already used to instead of experimenting with new ones.
Flight Plans
Wearing a face mask for a prolonged period of time can be tiring and uncomfortable and that’s why you should plan your flight accordingly. Unless absolutely necessary, long-haul flights are better left for later, because it’s much easier to endure flying for shorter periods of time.
