On the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island, you can find the world’s first underwater hotel.
The Muraka was created in 2015 and gives guests the opportunity to sleep beneath the ocean surface. This means that guests can take a bath or lie back on their bed while they watch marine life pass by in its natural habitat.

The bedrooms are contained in a 180-degree curved acrylic dome for full immersion in the ocean’s depths. Activities include snorkeling, diving, nighttime marine discovery, meditation, yoga and a culinary experience provided by a top chef.
