Niagara Falls is one of the world’s most breathtaking sights. Split between the United States and Canada, there are so many things to see and do here in a relatively small space.

When planning your trip to the falls, be sure to add these experiences to your list of things to do in order to ensure that your trip is enjoyed to the fullest!

See Both the American and Canadian Falls

Niagara Falls has two main cascades, one of which is known as “Horseshoe Falls” and is located on the Canadian side of the river, and the other is known as American Falls on the American side. Both are gorgeous and impressive, and it’s worth it to spend a day at both.

Go on a Boat Ride

The Maid of the Mist is an unforgettable experience on a boat for any visitor to the falls. Board a boat in New York and get panoramic views of the American falls before crossing into Ontario and seeing the Canadian side. You’ll get wet, and it’ll be windy, but the river perspective of the falls is almost hard to believe.

Go Behind the Falls

One of the best attraction on the Canadian side of the falls is the “Journey Behind the Falls” experience. You’ll descend through rock tunnels behind the structure of the Canadian falls and hear the strength of the water as it slams against the rock before coming out at an observation deck that’ll allow you to observe the extreme water flow up close and personal.
