Don’t Make These Rookie Travel Mistakes

Booking Short Layovers

Unless your layover is through the company, if you’re booking two separate flights make sure your layover in between them is as close to 2 hours as possible. You never know if there will problems taking off, landing, or anything in between, and it’s no fun having to run through an airport like a headless chicken.

Overpacking

This is the number one problem travelers have to overcome. No matter if you’re allowed to check a bag with your flight or not, it’s never a good idea to over pack. That’s just more things you have to carry around in your suitcase, and you really never need as much as you bring.

Exchanging Money

Nowadays, the smartest way to get the best exchange rate is to just pull out money from an ATM using your debit card. Your bank is sure to have a better rate than money exchange places, just make sure that you tell your bank you’ll be traveling so they don’t think it’s a fraud.
