Check Out Country Coupling in 2020

Have you heard of “country coupling” before? This phenomenon, in which travelers look to visit two different countries on one trip, is set to take off.

This travel trend is almost guaranteed to become a big thing in 2020, as travelers look to diversify their limited number of trips and thus be able to see two different places and cultures for the price of one!

While some of us that live in big countries might find it hard to imagine, the reality is that there is plenty of opportunities out there to visit a neighboring country when traveling to certain places.

For instance, San Diego, California and Tijuana, Mexico are located a scant 15 minutes apart but offer a completely different culture, language, gastronomical scene, and experience to travelers.

You don’t even have to visit two cities to take advantage of the trend of country coupling. If you are really looking to have two totally different experiences, one way is to visit a city in one country and then a nature-focused site in another.

Day 60. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Ok we did it. We entered the next country: Montenegro! We took like hundreds of pictures in front of this border sign and this is the most stupid one. Just for all of you! 😂 We look back to a very pleasant time in Croatia. Its such an amazing breathtaking country with nice people BUT the food wasnt very good (for us). Now we are pretty excited to see a little bit of Montenegro the next days and especially we want to see Kotor tomorrow, we heared its like Dubrovnik. Cycling is getting easier and easier from day to day. It feels like Nils gave us a lot of motivation as he told us hes doing 120km each day. 😂 Have a nice sunday everybody. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ – David —————— Tag 60.
