Fiji’s known for its beaches and tropical beauty, but in addition to the breathtaking islands, there are many interesting cultural attractions that you need to experience. When visiting Fiji, you’ll want to try these things.

Island Hopping

Fiji is home to 333 islands and only a third of them are inhabited. The water is crystal clear which makes it perfect for swimming and diving, with great views of coral reefs. For a real adventure, book a helicopter ride to enjoy the aerial views of the islands as well as the heart-shaped island of Tavarua.

Hot Glass Workshop

Fiji has the first and only glass blowing studio and you can attend a workshop or you can watch the team shape and color the golden molten glass. The glasses perfectly capture the lights of the beautiful islands.

Mud Bath at Sabeto Hot Springs

For a relaxing experience, check out the Mud Bath at Sabeto Hot Springs which is heated by an underground volcanic source. Start with a guided tour of the thermal springs and then get dirty in the mud pool.

Fire Walking Festival

The fire festival, held at the Mariamma Temple, involves walking on red hot coals. Before walking on the coals, the pilgrims who are dressed in yellow take a bath in the sea.

Underwater Caves

The Sawa-I-Lau caves, which formed over the years due to limestone formations are a must-see while in Fiji. To get to the caves you’ll take a scenic boat ride and you can head into the secretive ones with locals to guide you.
