You can find different charter companies for catamarans and monohulls in the town of Placentia (or Placencia). Since Placentia has a tiny airport which is served daily by Cessna Grand Caravans ✈️ from Belize City, it is a good place to start your trip. It’s an easy area – even for sailing beginners. You’ll discover dozens of lonely and uninhabited islands 🏝, an amazing marine life 🐠🐡🐙🐢🐬 and spectacular beaches with breathtaking sunsets 🌅 . I recommend to spend at least 10-12 days on the boat to explore the different islands and finish the trip with a few days in a nice resort in Placentia.
