As far as the US goes, the FDA allows many chemicals to go into our beauty products that really aren’t so good for us. While in Europe, their guidelines are much stricter, and generally, their products are more natural. Here is a list of brands you should look for instead when you’re in Europe next!

My selection for product of the year for day 30 of the #SkinEmmies2017 and my #cultproductoftheyear was a tie between @susannekaufmann_ #hyaluronserum and @alliesofskin #1aalldaymask. Both purchased from @cultbeauty. . The #susannekaufmann is a wholly plant-based hyaluron serum with perfectly balanced molecular structure and only 3 ingredients (water, sodium hyaluronate and citric acid). It absorbs quickly, is silk smooth and smells absolutely ambrosial. My skin is left firmer, lifted and looks years younger. . The #alliesofskin was intended to be a multi-hyphenate for use while traveling. However, it quickly became my choice for daily moisturizer. It brightens, tightens and refines, increases the production of collagen and elastin, shores up my skin barrier and protects from everyday pollutants. It layers nicely with the 72 (not really, but close) products applied before it and makes for a perfectly hydrated base for my sunscreen and the occasional makeup. But, in my house, the ultimate commendation was when my husband, who is notoriously hostile toward moisturizers, approved of it and actually requested that I purchase him a tube. . . . 30plusskincare #365inskincare #skincarejunkie #skincareaddict #skincareobsessed #skincarediary #skincareroutine #instaskincare #skincarechallenge #photochallenge #photooftheday #productoftheyear #cultbeauties
