Lowe Art Museum
If you like the idea of spending an entire day in a museum, then head to Lowe Art Museum. With its 14 thematic rooms, collection of more than 20,000 pieces, and artworks from every inhabited continent of the world, it offers an opportunity to get immersed in art and lose count of time while doing it. The museum is notable for its Greco-Roman antiquities and glassworks while also housing works from renowned painters like El Greco, Francisco Goya, Vincenzo Catena, and Paul Gauguin.
Pérez Art Museum
Pérez Art Museum has a modest collection compared to most other established museums. However, this doesn’t mean it isn’t a pleasure to explore it. The museum’s collection focuses mainly on contemporary artworks and pieces from the 20th century and covers the regions of North America, South America, Western Europe, and Africa. This includes works from the likes of Gerhard Richter, Sam Gilliam, Rashid Johnson, José Bedia Valdés, Diego Rivera, and Christo and Jeanne-Claude.
