Cancún Underwater Museum

If you’re a huge fan of snorkeling or scuba diving, this is the first place you should check out while in Cancún. Since opening its doors in 2010, this underwater museum grew into one of the city’s top attractions and it features a total of 500 underwater sculptures that you can discover during your diving adventures.

El Rey Archaeological Zone

Cancún is home to several archeological zones where you can explore ancient Mayan ruins, and El Rey is a good place to start. This archaeological site is home to a total of 47 buildings and structures of varying sizes, including a pyramid-shaped temple.

Xoximilco

Described as a “Mexican floating fiesta”, Xoximilco is basically a theme park built around Mexican culture, customs, music, and food. It allows you to board a colorful Mexican gondola, and have the time of your life while riding through its charming natural surroundings.
