Believe it or not, Japan isn’t the only country in East Asia that has a strong culture of baseball. South Korea also has a passion for this classic American-born sport that is now practiced in many countries throughout the world.

Baseball lovers in South Korea will find a huge wealth of attractions and stadiums to check out. Here are three great places to see a game in the country.

Daegu Samsung Lions Park

The festival atmosphere at Daegu Samsung Lions Park in the city of Daegu is no surprise given the massive success of their home team. 24,000 fans regularly pack the stands at this almost new stadium, where fans are guaranteed to have fun.

Jamsil Baseball Stadium

While baseball in South Korea is now quite popular, this wasn’t always the case. In fact, when Jamsil Baseball Stadium was built in Seoul in 1982, it was the only major baseball stadium in the country. It maintains its quaint charm and is a great park to visit in the country’s capital.
