Annabel’s

Annabel’s is a private members’ club in Mayfair has been the celebrity playground for 56 years, but it’s not out of reach even for the ordinary people. In order to become a member, you need to be proposed by an existing member, be approved by the membership committee, and pay £2,750 ($3,500) per year.

But even those who are not members can take photos in front of the club, and right now its exterior is blooming with flowers. See more photos taken by people who passed by it below.

The club consists of multiple restaurants, bars, private rooms, a spa center, and a garden. Even the members can’t come in if they’re not following a strict dress code.

I think it’s fair to say that they’ve done a rather sterling job of decorating the exterior at Annabel’s in Mayfair. This place always catches the eye, that’s for sure. 🔹 What is this place? I hear some of you ask. Simply put it is perhaps the most elegant nightclub in the world. A private club, who have catered for distinguished guests such as the Prince of Wales, Princess Anne, US President Richard Nixon, Frank Sinatra and not too long ago myself at the kind invitation of my friend @ivy.abramovich. It is also said to be the favourite nightclub of both Prince William and Harry who have both been photographed leaving this club (when the club was located literally next door to where it is now). The Queen herself has paid a visit, back in 2003 and unless someone can correct me, it is said to be the only nightclub that the Queen has visited. And it does beg the more serious question; did she get on that dance floor when the DJ played “Dancing Queen”? 😂💃🏽👑 🔹 The club was initially founded in 1963 by entrepreneur Mark Birley who named the club after his then wife Lady Annabel Vane-Tempest-Stewart. She later went on to marry her husband’s best friend! Clearly a club in Mayfair and a triple barrelled surname isn’t enough for some 😳😂😂. I say that light heartedly of course, this is a truly magical place inside as well as outside. 🔹 The reason for the lovely floral display was to coincide with the Chelsea Flower show. Now that has left the stage for 2019, the next big event in London that I’m looking forward to, is Wimbledon!!! Anyone else excited like me, for the world’s best tennis tournament to start? 🎾 🔹 p.s. 190 days until Christmas🎄😂
