Ace Hotels are one of the trendiest hotel chains in the US, raking in celebrities and tastemakers for overnights and parties from New York to Los Angeles.

Luckily for the more budget conscious among us, Atelier Ace, the parent company behind Ace Hotels, is offering a spinoff hotel on the Bowery in downtown Manhattan come autumn 2018.

The new hotel will be called Sister City, and it’ll house 200 rooms that offer the bare essentials of living, paying heed to both minimalism as well as a concentrated reduction of typical amenities and offerings in standard hotel rooms. (For instance, the “closet” is more of a tiny hanging rack-desk of sorts.)

Though the rooms promise to be small, the price tag still isn’t quite so, though it definitely will be less than its more luxurious Ace relatives; rooms will start at $259.
