This adorable semi-detached house in Vila Madalena offers dozens of different Brazilian coffees with explanations about each one including flavor profiles and provenance. You’ll get to pick your beans and preferred brewing method when selecting your cup of joe.

Café Floresta

This must-visit place has been in the same location for the last 40 years. The cafe is located in the Copan building, a 35-story apartment block designed by Oscar Niemeyer in the 1950s. The cafe hasn’t changed much since it was opened and the coffee is served in dark-brown ceramic cups.

King of the Fork

This cafe opened pretty recently and it quickly became one of the best in São Paulo. Located in Pinheiros, the cafe is inspired by the world of cycling with its name being a play on “King of the Mountain”, an award given in professional cycling road races.
